About Desirée
Jersey born and Carolina bred Desirée Amber Duff came from family of performers - its in her blood. Desirée made the stage a second home, with her first credit ever being The Nutcracker at the renowned Papermill Playhouse in Millburn, NJ at the age of 3.
After performing in countless community theater productions as well as gaining five professional theater credits at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina under her belt before her high school graduation, Desirée attended SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design) in Savannah, Georgia on a Performing Arts scholarship, then transferred to the small liberal arts school Montreat College in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina to have a more hands-on experience with her craft. There she studied acting under Callan White-Hinman and vocals under Dr. Timothy Wilds, who taught her the Estill Voice Training system. Desirée is a recent grad with a BA in Music and Minor in Theatre.
Desirée currently resides in Brooklyn, NY and is extremely excited to unlock all the doors of opportunity that New York City has to offer. In her downtime, she can be found at the gym trying to figure out how all those weight machines work, binging Netflix and reciting the opening credits to Law & Order SVU, or out and about exploring this beautiful city.
